Hello Snow Campers,
.
Snow camping time is here. Here is the latest info if you dare to brave the wrath of mother nature.

When: Febuary 24th -26th departing @ 8am from the church parking lot on the 24th
Where: Cisco Grove Campground on I-85 near Boreal Ridge, past Yuba Gap
Cost: $80 and bring $20 for food on the way up and back.
.

We hope to have several types of snow shelters built and hopefully slept in before the weekend is over. Oh, did I mention sledding and snowball fights? We added 4 sleds to group gear and they should be quite entertaining.
We still need a scout in charge and are looking forward to working with who ever is up to the challenge. We have just 5 weeks to put this all together and have high hopes for the fun factor of this event. Can you help us fill out this team? Well, that should give you a taste of things to come. I guess the rest is up to you.
.
Sign ups must be finalized by Febuary 13th at the troop meeting. The calendar is available for sign-ups so please add your name to the list as soon as you can so we can make the travel arrangement as quickly as possible. Please confirm your ability to attend with your parents before you comit to this or any other event.
.
Stay tuned to this channel for further info and weather updates.
.
Hope to see you there.
Your Snow Camping Team,

Scout Skills Camp Sept 24-25, 2011
Join us at Camp Chesebourgh (10 miles away on Hwy 9 in the Santa Cruz Mountains). We will be teaching scout skills that the scout can later use to complete some Tenderfoot, Second Class, or First Class requirements. There is no charge to join this event. We do require that a parent accompany each guest. This starts at lunchtime on Saturday and guests are welcome to stay through dinner or camp overnight with the Boy Scouts.
